How I Started
Rashid White is an Afro-Latino, with an illustrious personality. He is versed in Author, Entrepreneur, Artist (Photography, videography, dance), Actor, Poetry Slam Curator, and much more. At the time of adolescence, he has spent most of his days in school, sports, dancing at St. Paul’s Baptist Church with what was known as B.O.M.B.S.Q.U.A.D. and when going to high school late-night weekends in attending Slam- Richmond’s open mic venue.
He completed his BFA in Creative Writing, Graphic Design, and AS in I.T. from PerScholas and George Mason University. He has also pursued an MFA program in Creative Writing and Arts Management. Let’s get acquainted with some oeuvres of the well-known poems of this brilliant poet – “Not Every Poem Walks Across Stage”, “Love Lust” and “Saudade Unlocking Agape”.
Expert in
Rashid is also burgeoning in the streets of Richmond, VA. He focuses on creating art that places reflective emphasis on overcoming hurdles by shedding light on his truths. His passion for mentoring and creating positive change in his communities propelled him. All these endeavors target his ultimate goal of an international non-profit specializing in S.T.E.A.M. research applications for at-risk youth in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd world countries.
